If you like the Walking Dead, you need this cook book. I've tried several recipes. Some call for things like wild boar...then follows up with something like, "You can also hunt in the grocery store and replace with...", so you don't actually have to be living in the apocalypse to use this book. I read this thing cover to cover just to check out the descriptions and survival tips. It's not just a cook book...it's a survival guide!
This is a beautiful cookbook! I ordered this for my husband’s birthday. Considering he loves to cook AND he’s a huge fan of the show, I hoped it would be a hit. It was! Every recipe has photos or detailed explanations. I will admit that there may be some recipes we will never make but that’s actually why it’s such a cool cookbook. It has recipes for lots of palettes. From spaghetti and chicken bakes to squirrel and making your own meads. It’s very informative and the titles of the recipes made my husband laugh because they were very true to the show. He loves it! We are going to try and cook our way through it starting with the breakfast foods!
Entertaining but still informative. This is a bridge between real survivalism, actual cooking and a good entertainment series. Some honest work was put into this and impressive results achieved!
I received my cookbook today and I've already read it cover to cover. I am a huge fan of the comic and the TV show. I also collect cookbooks. This book is well put together. The pictures are beautiful. It's also full of how tos and handy info. The recipes are realistic and I can't wait to use them. The titles of the recipes are funny. I highly recommend this book for fans!
I wish I had pictures of this product, because it’s awesome. I picked it up for my sister for Christmas, and I was very impressed with it. It’s a great quality item, and my sister LOVED it. She’s a die hard walking dead fan. Pick it up if you love the show, or know someone that does!
Received this from Amazon super fast (one day). It's a gift but looked through it. What a great cookbook! Some great recipes I'm going to borrow and I enjoy seeing my favorite characters throughout the book. I know my grandaughter will enjoy this!
I purchased this book for a huge Walking Dead fan and am really happy with it. It arrived beautiful with no damage and makes a really nice present. The recipes inside are great despite the somewhat kitchy theme. The price is great for such a nice book. Highly recommended.
I bought this as a gift for my mother in law, who is a huge walking dead fan. She absolutely loved it as soon as she opened it up! I did open the book up when it arrived, and the presentation of the cookbook itself is very nicely done. Wonderful pictures throughout. If you know a Walking Dead fan this would make the perfect gift!
