This book reviews skin permeation and disposition of chemical compounds. Skin is utilized as an administration site for transdermal drug delivery systems, topical drug formulations, cosmeceuticals, and cosmetics. Skin permeation, disposition, and metabolism of chemicals are first summarized in the general introduction.
