Great book! This is great reference book to many, if not all, questions regarding how to get started in the tour business (as a TD/M or TG). Fun stories used as examples. All in all great book to own and a great read! :)
I have been considering a career in tour directing and had so many questions. I found this book and I'm really glad I did as it answered many of those questions. The author really goes through the whole business, from working for an agency to running your own tours. I thoroughly enjoyed the read and learned a lot about the business. I think I'm gonna give the business ago!
Great read, very informative. There is a lot more to becoming a tour guide than i thought and i feel this book has armed with with the information i need to pursue this dream. The examples along the way make it very easy to read and I feel i would keep this book handy as a manual on what to do if i'm lucky enough to become a Tour Guide.
