My father has one of the original books and he wanted to get an "updated" version. This is not updated in the sense that there's new information about the actual Genesis Flood science/theology but he does say that the "forwards are quite impressive". He's been writing his interpretations of sections of the Bible and was been quite taken with the ideas in this book. The geological and anthropological prospects, in relation to biblical teachings, caught my attention while I thumbed through it. I went ahead and bought one for myself. It looks as if it's going to be some heavy reading but I'm looking forward to learning what Whitcomb has to say.
I bought this book along with "The Genesis Record" in order to better understand creation and evolution from a biblical standpoint. The book does a good job of using scripture as a base to explain theories. I really enjoy this book and it has helped me understand things in ways that I had never been taught before. This is an excellent book and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for material on biblical creation.
This book is packed with detailed information proving that the Flood of Noah was a real event and the earth proves it. Read also "In The Beginning" by Walt Brown. That shows diagrams and pictures to go with the text. These two book complement each other.
Dr. Henry Morris is an incredible scientist and man of faith. This book confirms Biblical creation.

The book came a little bent up in the package, but it is in overall great condition. It gives a great biblical overview and historical perspective on the flood and related material. 50th edition adds additional material, not ready it all yet, but a great read !
