i saved almost half off buy purchasing through amazon textbooks rather than the school bookstore.i recommend that any student look to amazon before purchasing and that they consider that this is coming out of there financial aid either right away (out of pocket) or later (if u use book vouchers based on your fin aid award thru the school.) Taking the out of pocket hit now saves you half or more in the long run. I always look online first./Renting seems foolish. It is an investment. At least if you buy used then you can still sell back the book and get 50% or more of your inestment back if you play your cards right. Good luck all.
This book has not been helpful to me at all. At best it very vaguely skims a topic in a sentence or two before moving on to something else. Frequently it briefly mentions a topic and presents a case with a relationship to the topic, but does not bother providing additional analysis about the case. It also frequently references the works of another professor for much of its content. I have had to rely on books from my other, more basic, law classes to get an idea about what information I need to research. If this was not a required textbook, I would have immediately returned it.
Decent product, very use full to me as a paralegal student. Item was as advertised.

this text was required for class. it is easy to read and understand. Very nicely organized. many textbooks are barely used but this one I am getting my money's worth.

This is an excellent book. It's easy to understand and follow. It is very comprehensive and thorough in explaining tort law. the book also has many listings of case law. It's critical thinking exercises will keep paralegals on their toes.
